Manu Caddie

Manu (Ngati Pūkenga, Ngāti Hauā, Tongan, Pākehā) lives near Ruatorea on the East Coast and is a co-founder of Rua Bioscience, a leader in the New Zealand medicinal cannabis sector.
Manu is Chair of the NZ Medical Cannabis Council and was a member of the Ministerial Advisory Group responsible for designing the new Medicinal Cannabis Scheme. He has participated in international narcotics classification meetings at the United Nations, is involved with a cannabis research project in Nepal and has been working with officials, activists and NGOs to change unjust drug laws in Aotearoa and around the world.
